Formation Of The Universe
Nebular hypothesis is the theory that states that a nebula started all of this. A supernova occured at 10,000,000 C.
Thus the sun was born.
After that the planets were formed.
How were they formed you ask?
Well, the remnants of the supernova had to become something so...
Planetesimals were made!!!
Some of them joined and together to make bigger planets (they were so close together they collided.)
Earth's land, atmosphere, and ocean were formed by differentiation. When the earth was formed the atmosphere was made up of hydrogen and helium. The land was hot and then it cooled suddenly making solid ground.
WHen the earth was solidifying comets and meteors crashed into it. Because of the earths heat, the ice chunks stuck on the meteors melted. Thus water arrived on earth.
The 3 most interesting things about all of this, in my opinion, is the planet formation atmosphere formation, and ocean formation. I think this because its just so out there. The idea of our water coming from outer space is weird. The concept of atmosphere formation is cool. Even the thought that differentiation created atmosphere is outlandish.
